Boerne isn’t just where I live. It’s where I was raised. I’m a product of Boerne ISD, and the teachers, coaches, and mentors in this district helped shape the man I became. That matters to me more than I can put into words.
Over the years, I’ve tried to give back in the same way others invested in me. I’ve worked alongside students in IncubatorEDU as they built real businesses from the ground up. I’ve mentored young men and women through the practicum internship program as they stepped into professional life for the first time. And I led the creation of the Straight to the Trades Entrepreneurship Program because not every student’s path runs through a four-year university, and that’s something we should respect, not overlook. Skilled trades, entrepreneurship, and hands-on work are vital to this community and to the future of our country.
The more time I’ve spent inside our schools, the more convinced I’ve become of something simple. Our students are capable of extraordinary things. What they need from us is leadership that believes in them enough to expect excellence, protect opportunity, and steward taxpayer dollars with discipline and transparency.
After a lot of prayer, reflection, and conversations with families across the district, I’m proud to announce that I am running for the Boerne ISD School Board.
I love our schools. I believe in what Boerne ISD has built. And I believe strong districts stay strong when people are willing to step forward and serve.
If elected, I’m making two commitments from the start.
First, I will not vote to raise your already high taxes. Families are feeling the weight of property taxes. Business owners are navigating rising costs. Landowners are carrying heavy burdens. The district must operate with the same financial discipline the community practices every day.
Second, I will serve no more than two terms. School board service should be stewardship, not a permanent seat. Healthy institutions benefit from fresh perspective and clear accountability.
This campaign isn’t about tearing anything down. It’s about building forward. It’s about maintaining high standards, strengthening real-world pathways for students, supporting our teachers, and making sure every graduate walks across that stage prepared for what comes next, whether that’s college, the trades, the military, or starting a business of their own.
Early voting runs from April 20 through April 28, 2026. Election Day is May 2, 2026. School board elections are often decided by a small number of votes. If you’ve never participated in one before, I’m asking you to engage this time. These decisions shape curriculum, culture, spending, and opportunity for years to come.
Boerne invested in me. Now I’m stepping forward to invest back in a greater way.
I would be honored to earn your support and your vote.
