I have known Michael since he was a student in the Middle Schools in Boerne ISD. As a former Educator in our schools from 1990 to retirement in 2019, I feel I am pretty close to an expert in the Middle School students! I found Michael to be personable and dependable, a problem solver and trouble shooter in that setting. Michael always worked well in a group setting and would “birddog” assignments to complete the project with integrity and kindness to partners.
You know the old saying that some things never change, they just get better and stronger. This would be my sincere description of Michael. He has become a man driven by his passion for helping others all while cultivating success in his own business endeavors and, frankly, making a better way for all.
Michael’s passion for BISD, both teachers and students is second to none. His word is sincere and his character impeccable. He will serve with discretion and dependability, as a man known for his character.
Every currently seated BISD School Board Member had a “first year” and so will Michael. He is a bright individual and a quick study who is eager to serve the students and teachers of our District in every way. I’ve known Michael for nearly two decades, going back to when he was a camp counselor. I’ve watched him grow from a teenager into a man who’s always kept Boerne first, even when he was away. He cares deeply about this community and Boerne ISD. Good luck, Michael!
